Reaching for change: ConnectPay joins TechZero to help fight the climate crisis
Net zero emission commitments are on the rise in 2021 as many different companies, communities and countries seek their alignment to global climate goals. As there is no planet B, now is the time to set out on a bold decarbonization pathway and to take the lead on the world’s climate change mitigation.

At ConnectPay, we believe that the business community plays a key role in fighting climate changes and has a lot of power to be a positive example. As we’re determined to take our part, our team has joined TechZero taskforce alongside Revolut, Bulb, Wise and other market players. Our goal is to reach net zero emission by 2050. How? By strongly limiting our company’s carbon footprint, we want to make sure that global warming stays below 1.5°C which is the critical level of heating to avoid the worst climate crisis impacts.
Starting from ourselves
On a positive note, ConnectPay already operates with a comparatively low environmental footprint. We’re branchless, digital, and we don’t work with fossil fuel-based energy companies. What is more, we no longer use cutlery, bottles or bags made of plastic inside our office. Instead, our team switched to reusable fruit boxes, reusable kitchen tools and we’re carefully recycling every day. When it comes to life outside the office, we also think responsibly, for example, by having business card packaging that is 100% recyclable.
Even if we still do contribute to global climate change at some point, one of ConnectPay’s strategic goals is to minimise carbon emissions to the lowest point possible.
