Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO)

We’re seeking to meet MLRO, a positive, resilient, problem-solving team member who can inspire and conquer challenges.

We invite you to:

  • Design, review, and implement ML/TF prevention and international sanctions program.
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and rules are in place for effective implementation.
  • Perform annual AML/CTF Enterprise-wide risk assessment.
  • Manage investigations on internally reported suspicious activities.
  • Advise on freezing funds related to sanctioned entities.
  • Monitor and approve transaction monitoring rules.
  • Review and develop ML/TF and Sanctions-related risk management policies and procedures.
  • Identify and implement necessary controls for regulatory changes.
  • Provide training and guidance on ML/TF and Sanctions topics to operational teams.
  • Advise Executive Management, Risk Committee, and the Board on relevant topics.
  • Ensure timely reporting of suspicious activities to authorities.
  • Raise AML/CTF and Sanctions awareness across the organization.
  • Manage documentation and control system deficiencies from a compliance perspective.

We expect you to have:

  • +5 years of Senior Compliance experience within Financial institution / EMI – essential.
  • Previous experience as an MLRO.
  • Experience in dealing with the Bank of Lithuania the FNTT and other regulatory bodies.
  • Lithuanian and English language is a must requirement to apply for this role
  • A knowledge of complex structures.
  • An expert in money laundering prevention and CTF.
  • Adequate knowledge of the Lithuanian regulatory environment.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, follow up, produce consistently accurate work, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • A starting salary of 4500 EUR (gross) per month, with the opportunity to increase based on your experience and competencies.
