We are proud to share that our Founder & CEO, Marius Galdikas, has been elected as the new Chairman of the Board for the Lithuanian Fintech Association (LFA).
Having served on the LFA board previously and dedicating himself to the association’s mission, Marius now steps into the leading role to help shape the future of Lithuania’s financial technology sector. He succeeds Asta Grigaitytė, who has held the position since 2022. With over 20 years of leadership experience in financial services, banking, and the tech sector, Marius steps into this role as the strategies that once drove the market are shifting.
Entering the mature phase of fintech
According to Marius, the Lithuanian fintech sector has firmly entered a new era where simply being “fast” is no longer enough to secure a competitive edge. Looking ahead, global leadership will belong to regions that can successfully balance cutting-edge innovation with clear regulatory frameworks and highly qualified talent.
“Lithuania has already built a remarkably strong foundation in fintech, but our focus must now shift to maintaining qualitative growth,” says Marius Galdikas. “We need to foster an environment where companies in this sector can not only launch but thrive and scale in the long term. The Association’s core goal will continue to strengthen the dialogue between market participants, regulators, and state institutions, ensuring sustainable growth and creating even greater value for the country’s economy.”
Together on the board
Joining Marius in guiding the Association’s strategic direction is a newly elected board comprising top-tier industry experts and leaders. The new board includes:
- Monika Snitkė (Head of Operations, TransferGo)
- Laurynas Spangevičius (General Manager, Robinhood Europe)
- Asta Grigaitytė (CEO, FinXP)
- Juozas Kaminskas (Independent Candidate)
- Darius Noreika (CEO, Finbee)
- Mindaugas Petrauskas (Representative, TeslaPay)
