From sharing the basics on what money is, to how payments are processed, or even covering more niche topics. We have made it our mission to connect with young or inquiring minds. And if we are able to connect with and inspire just one person to jump into the wonderful world of finance – it’s worth it.
We are passionate about what we do. Whether it’s making the kind of customer centric changes that deliver results, improving services, or creating financial solutions that are inclusive for all kinds of online businesses. But more than that, we are dedicated to helping our sector to grow. That’s why our experts in product development, customer relationships, compliance, risk management, and beyond are all keen to share their insights. Our goal – to inspire the next generation of fintech leaders.
Because eyes filled with curiosity inspire to achieve great things.
We grow by lifting others, and that’s what giving back to our community is all about.
We ensure that the fintech landscape continues to evolve by aspiring to stay better, faster and more innovative.
We’re also keen to spread the word at an early age. That’s why when school kids start to understand that money is the best way to get more candy and toys, we’re eager to welcome them and introduce them to the magical world of instant and cross-border payments. And some of their questions challenge even our most experienced minds.
We’re proud to partner with the Kaunas University of Technology and the Vilnius University Kaunas faculty. Here, students not only get a sneak-peek into what’s actually happening at ConnectPay but also ask questions and get in-depth answers, as well as take part in interactive workshops.
Being actively engaged in communities like RockIt and Fintech Hub is crucial for fostering our industry. By participating in these networks, we contribute to elevating the expertise of the entire sector while bridging the gap between fintech innovators and entrepreneurs, ultimately driving growth and innovation in the field.
The students really liked how the company representatives showed them what happens behind the scenes in their everyday work and explained why their jobs matter. They also learned about what fintech companies do, the problems they tackle, and how they find solutions. The students especially enjoyed hearing about real experiences through practical examples, – Saulius Masteika, Vice Dean for Infrastructure at Vilnius University Kaunas Faculty
Students emphasized that they were most interested in getting to know what the regulation of fintech companies is like because it was new and unheard of; to get to know fintech terminology through specific situations and examples. They were glad that the lecturer spoke from his own experience and was not afraid to deviate from the slide material, as it made the presentation several times more interesting. The students highlighted that they would have liked to participate in the workshop, but they ran out of time because of no less interesting Q&A. The students also mentioned that the lecturer’s communication is highly rated, as he both encouraged participation in the discussion and managed to answer all questions, – Kaunas University of Technology students
