We’ve partnered with Benefit Bridge, a Greek fintech, to launch Greece’s first platform that combines Earned Wage Access with meal and wellness benefit cards. Employees use one app to manage their workplace benefits and access part of their earned wages before payday. We provide the licensed payment and card infrastructure behind it, through our embedded finance platform.
What’s in the Benefit Bridge app
Benefit Bridge brings three services together that Greek employers usually buy from separate providers:
- Cash Flow, an Earned Wage Access service that lets employees withdraw part of the wages they’ve already earned before payday.
- Benefit Card, a meal benefit card accepted at a growing network of supermarkets, grocery stores, restaurants, cafés and bakeries.
- Wellness Card, for eligible wellbeing services such as gyms and wellness facilities.
Both cards are issued on our white-label card infrastructure. Merchant eligibility and transaction controls keep each card within its intended category.
“We created Benefit Bridge around a simple idea: employee benefits should respond to the way people actually live and work today,” said Nikos Xagorarakis, CEO of Benefit Bridge.
How Earned Wage Access works with Cash Flow
For many Greek households, the paycheck doesn’t last the whole month. According to a 2025 survey by IME GSEVEE, households whose income runs out early say it covers an average of just 18 days a month. Cash Flow is built for that gap.
Eligible employees open the app, see how much they’ve earned so far, and withdraw part of those wages before payday, within limits set by their employer. Transfers run on our payment infrastructure and are sent via SEPA to the employee’s registered bank account, which is linked to them during registration.
Why Benefit Bridge built on ConnectPay
Rather than building its own licensed infrastructure, Benefit Bridge partnered with us for accounts, payments and card issuing, so its team can focus on the product employers and employees use.
“Benefit Bridge needed a partner that could handle the licensing and compliance side of this, not just the technology,” said Marius Galdikas, Founder and CEO of ConnectPay. “What we’ve built together means an employer can offer real financial flexibility to their employees and know exactly where that money is allowed to go.”
If you’re building a product that needs licensed accounts, payments or cards let’s talk.
